just realised im no longer behind on lectures on one of my modules and momentarily rejoiced, before realising that all the lectures for the module had in fact already been given so i was in effect a term behind... on a one term module
@cloudynyxx Before clicking looked a bit like boy and the beast with detailed bg and flat chara drawings, but then I realised this instead looks like bad
@swanouse ikr its absolutely ridiculous, the incalculable damage theyre probably doing to their brain rn is insane
pretty sure a lot of uni students nowadays cant study effectively with textbooks due to their online exposure, i cant imagine how much worse its gonna get for these kids
@lisztsz @WSJReviews @texhnolyzedfish This is pretty disingenuous - mistakes of course are made, but if they are made pretty regularly with absolutely no actual journalism or content behind them then it's just interaction bait. The actual publishing sources you've mentioned produce something. Mogura produces nothing.
@lisztsz @WSJReviews @texhnolyzedfish Have you read the posts above? Not necessarily. Mogura was in all likelihood aware of this, and decided to post anyway, since they were likely betting on plausible deniability concerning misinformation, which is the basis you're arguing from now.
@lisztsz @WSJReviews @texhnolyzedfish The content of a message is what is being conveyed through text, not just pure words. The interpretation is contextualised in light of existing culture, which is the case for all human language.
@lisztsz @WSJReviews @texhnolyzedfish Condeming? 100% correct? They've not committed a crime, and nobody is coming after them, and as I've made it incredibly clear in this series of messages, it is apparent from Mogura's language in the message itself that it was intending to deceive.
