In Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, bar owner Jimmy Gilleece discovered that homeless 17-year-old Rivers Prather had stolen a customer's wallet containing her wedding ring.
Instead of calling the police, Jimmy hired divers to recover the ring from the ocean, then took the struggling teen into his own home. He gave Rivers a job at his bar and welcomed him as part of his family.
Today, Rivers works there and calls Jimmy the man who changed his life — a powerful story of compassion over punishment.
Don’t know him, but seems weird that there is so much negativity surrounding this guy
“I can't live with myself if I just use players to win games and then they go off from here and can't be productive citizens and great husbands and great fathers."
The Winn Brothers leave a heartfelt voicemail for their baby sister Haley ahead of her championship game for Gold at the Olympics.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
