Hooch led 13 PAX all over LDT for a full body workout- Hooch took advantage of the unmistakable Late Start summertime vibe and he pushed every last HIM for the full 45.
It’s June! School’s out! It’s summertime for LDT, which means we double the # of PAX, intensity and mumbblechatter! Electricity was in the air today- Olaf was the perfect Q to kickoff Summer at LDT as he led 14 PAX on a true burner around Dark Tower.
Dilbert led 15 PAX on a Ruck/Pearls on a String tour of Late Dark Tower. Dilbert led more by action than instruction- he joined F3 last fall and he has built himself into one of F3’s premier Ruckers as was on display this morning.
LATE DARK TOWER- Chaps led 8 PAX on a Ruck around DT- taking turns carrying a 60# sandbag. Chaps expertly mixed in some exercises using said sandbag. CoT: Take note of not only how often you push yourself but how often you push others… along with some other memorable nuggets.
Today at late start Nacho Libre heroically picked up a last second dropped Q from an injured comrade. Despite the short notice he struck the perfect muscle burn/mumblechatter balance. CoT: Be grateful for all the little miracles we take for granted everyday, e.g. heated seats.
Marla Hooch led an eclectic group at Late Start today including an FNG, an out of towner, and an old regular we hadn’t seen in a while. The workout was a good balance of cardio, coupon work, and Dark Tower’s patented bridge pull-ups.
Bronco led 6 on a back focused hypertrophy session on the bridge for Late start today. Lots of pull ups and rows challenged all PAX, but we pushed through. Most importantly 5 of 6 made it to coffeteria!
Long Story graced Late Start with his 2 year manniversary. We were proud to have him. He brought some extra bricks for us to lug around and shoulders were burning by the end. CoT: Year 2 of F3 was a good one for solidifying friendships. Year 3: more posts, more volunteering.
HHGregg led an intimate workout at late start today. A little zone 2 followed by some hypertrophy on the hill of pain. CoT: An 80% plan well executed is better than a 100% plan never implemented. Words this overthinker needed to hear.
At Late Start today Bronco hit us with his patented hypertrophy approach. We were all pushed to failure, but as he said during CoT that’s where growth happens.
Chaps led 14 PAX for the 1st Anniversary of Late Start today at LDT. Innovative use of the Dark Tower Bridge, some work at the Cathedral and ended up with Ultimate Football. A great time had by all- and a perfect way to celebrate a year of faith, fitness and fellowship!
HH Gregg led 6 PAX at Late Dark Tower to celebrate National American Beer Day and we closed it out with a toast to Dabo’s Wedding Anniversary today and Debbie’s new book! Thanks for the lead today… and for the beer, HH Gregg.
Debbie VQ at LDT! He led 7 PAX. For his VQ, many of the youngest & fittest HIMs in all of F3 showed up and Debbie did not disappoint. As the 6 today, the only PAX I had to look after was myself. Great job today Debbie and to all the PAX who came out, way to push!
