In just 6 months as an intern in our lab at ICIQ, Gabriele delivered this fantastic work—yes, I’m biased, but rightfully so!—now out in @J_A_C_S! 🍒 on top: I got to collaborate again with my mentor @S__DI_STEFANO and friends from Parma. Check it out—you won’t be disappointed!
Ever wondered what water does to forming PHU networks? To answer this question, we performed multi-wave rheology, as well as model reactions and DFT. Results show a gel time up to 5 times shorter below 50 °C with 2-10 wt% water! But there is more to it, have a look at the paper📄
Thrilled to share that our paper about water impact on the sol-gel transition of polyhydroxyurethane networks has been featured as one of 𝑀𝑎𝑐𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑒𝑠 covers!

La bande annonce d'Eco Lanta est sortie.
Un documentaire sur notre relation au plastique 🤩🤩🤩
Trop fier de voir ce projet se concretiser.

Last week, I gave a talk at @Macro2024 organized at @warwickchem about our last results regarding #NIPU (and a bunch of rheology).
Warm thanks to the organizers for putting up such a great event!

Not polymers, but maybe my most relevant work (with @ga_noh). In @MacroJrnls_ACS, we discuss stressors, symptoms, and suggestions to help yourself and others improve #mentalhealth. Let’s normalize open discussions and navigate academia and life together. https://t.co/Fc32eT5Zfj
Scientists of Twitter! The world needs more reminders that we're living, breathing human beings.
Quote tweet this with a picture of you doing not-science.
New paper from our team !!! Our ESR Guillem just got his work accepted in @AmerChemSociety Applied Polymer Materials 💪 "Emerging Polyhydroxyurethanes as Sustainable Thermosets: A Structure-Property Relationship" can be found here: 📷https://t.co/nQxJcXNZpt
Could finally spend some time on a small #sciart. Was about time to tryout theses basics, quite satisfied with this one for a first attempt! Next step, a more #polymer oriented one.
Thanks to @BlenderMadeEasy@bradyajohnston for tutorials

First oral communication, very glad to take part to this conference with many very interesting speakers. A truly enriching week! Many thanks to @APME2023 organizers!
Last (but not least) day on #apme2023

Read the checklist for sustainable materials research. This is how one builds sustainability into their research work from @McGillMSSI @MooresResearch & @niladri_basu groups https://t.co/loaMmTUySx
Water used as blowing agent in Isocyanate-free self-foaming polyurethane formulations, not a distant dream anymore thanks to the last work of the CERM lab @ULiegeRecherche
Simple, cheap, robust, upscalable and more sustainable!
