@SantttiMuks I feel Kehlani hit her peak with It Was Good Until It Wasn't. Her covid album was 🔥. But the next 3 albums went from ok to mid to I dont need it. Ella has not had one bad/mid album. I think Kehlani has a bigger fan base and more popular but I do think Ella is the better artist.
Lost in Vegas REACT to J. Cole:
“This is going in the rafters as one of my FAVORITE songs by J. Cole. In terms of what he was saying, how he rapped it and the production…”
“Let Go My Hand” hits different as a Dad

@jas_d_barbie I slowly transitioned to lemonade at restaurants, but always if its freshly made in hours or minute maid/dole on tap. If its tap, water will do with lemon slices. But at home I stick to pineapple juice because its not concentrated
Album review for Who Coppin by Larry June
Honestly, I think it’s safe to say Larry June is the definition of consistent. The man has put out quality music for YEARS, and somehow he continues to retool and refresh his sound to prevent himself from sounding stagnant. This album is a very good example of that as Larry is very much adding some new elements to keep himself at the top of the game.
Luxury raps are right up Larry’s alley. I think the biggest thing is that, he’s appealing to the average person. He’s telling you that he’s a production of the game and he put the work in to get to where he is and he’s going to celebrate that success. Half of his lyrics are motivational as well. You can see how he’s telling you that you can do this shit too, regardless of what you been through. You also get that signature Larry laidback flow, as well as his melodic side too. The features are a very welcome addition. He typically doesn’t have many but Jhene’ is just an example of someone who understands the assignment.
Production wise, it’s like a 80’s and 90’s feel but with some modern day Bay Area styles and sounds mixed in too. There’s a cohesive cadence the album follows and the production enhances the lyrics and doesn’t completely take over the tracks. There are some melodies and bass hits that really just make you wanna play the tracks over so it’s really easy on the ears.
Larry has consistently shown us why he’s the face of the Bay. 49 minutes of quality music that sounds good in the car, the headphones, and even a goddamn shower speaker. There’s a reason why people never skip a Larry album. He’s just really good. Good Job Larry!

J. Cole “The Fall-Off is Inevitable”
The reverse lyricism here is unbelievable. Keeping the same 4 syllable multi throughout is brilliant & incredibly difficult.
I’m just realizing his life wasn’t upside down & spinning until he got “unmarried” as if to say his wife brought him stability.
This song coming directly after 39 Intro is album sequencing done perfectly.
Chelsea Handler goes OFF on Tony Hinchcliffe & Shane Gillis for making “racist” jokes at the Kevin Hart Roast and claims White people should NOT be joking about Black people in that kind of way since its equivalent to joking about r-pe 😳
“I knew enough about Tony & Shane… They’re racists, they’re bigots, they’re sexist… I don’t find those jokes funny. L-nching Black people is not a joke. It’s worse than r-pe… Them making fun of Sherryl Underwood’s dead husband who comitted s—cide is gross… I wasn’t fine with that. There was so much disgustingness, I knew it was gonna be a gross vibe.”
Magic retired at 36, Bird retired at 35,
Jordan at 38 (we call ceremonial years)
Kobe at 37 farewell tour and praised, Tim Duncan retired at 40 and his last couple years he was allowed to just be and play. No expectations. Dirk made all star game at 40 averaging 7 and 3 because he was appreciated and honored. Draymond says LeBron deserves that and people get in an uproar. It happens to all the greats. Why is it a problem with a LeBron?
Anyway
LeBron at 41 expected to compete to win it all. Ridiculed if he doesn’t. KD at 37 expected to compete to win it all. Ridiculed if he doesn’t. Steph at 38 team ridiculed for being in play in. I don’t know when we got here but we live in the era of discredit and hypocrisy; but how quickly we forget how we treated the greats of old. 🤷🏾♂️
Karlous Miller “drama” includes asking to be paid correctly, to stop giving writing credits to muhfuckas who ain’t wrote shit for nobody, and to be paid for all the shows that are being used as monetized content on social media. When they can’t use you and exploit you, you’re the problem.
