What a great experience, giving drumming workshops at Holy Cross Primary School in Bristol. Their pupils come from at least 35 different countries and so were talented! They loved it and so did I ๐ #drummingworkshops#educationalworkshops#africandrumming
FabDrumming has developed a new workshop: Music of the Mayans, recreating the sounds and rhythms of Ancient Mayan music, using (slit)drums, shakers and whistles. As you can see, the children love it ๐

FabDrumming facilitated a drumming workshop for @BouyguesESUK at @Fanhams_Hall . The delegates had a great time. After a full day of training, they enjoyed getting into the groove, creating new rhythms, connecting with each other and having fun! #teamdrumming#africandrumming
A FabDrumming Body Percussion workshop reduces stress, boosts the immune system and increases playfulness and creativity. It's also fun and increases the sense of joy by making music within a group. https://t.co/1hotn7vtyE

A drumming workshop for Mangotsfield Out Of School Club in Bristol. We sat outside in the playground, under a tree in the shade, just as they would do in Africa. The children were very musical and loved it, and so did I. #drummingworkshops#drummingforschools#africandrumming
Ks1 had a brilliant time drumming today to finish their topic. They really enjoyed wearing the t shirts that they had made and performing their dance and drumming to their parents. Well done all! #bravechangemakers
Reception, Year 1 & 2 children of Countess Gytha Primary School were very excited to bang the drums, play rhythms and rhythm games and demonstrate beautiful African costumes. It's so nice things are getting back to pre-pandemic times! #africandrumming#drummingforschools
Schools are open again. Apart from catching up on their learning, pupils also need to catch up on making memories and social interaction. Children love banging on drums and playing rhythm. It is a great way to blow off steam and is a great team building exercise! #africandrumming
My first #drummingworkshops after everything stopped because of the lockdown. Covid measures in place, it felt safe and it felt good. So wonderful to see the children of Countess Gytha and North Cadbury Primary School enjoy themselves so much. #mentalhealthday#africandrumming
The health and safety of all participants of my drumming workshops is my absolute priority. Which means I will be providing hand gel, clean all the instruments, put social distancing measures in place & wear PPE. #drumworkshops#teamwork#stressrelief#africandrumming#staysafe
What a super morning: drumming and dancing with Y1 of Winscombe Primary School. Very musical children, good concentration and they loved the dancing too :) You can see photos and videos on their class page: https://t.co/YA7qbrEiNA #Africandrumming#Africandancing#schoolworkshops
