Life fucking loves you. Things work out for you. Doors open for you. Money comes to you. Love finds you. People remember you. Opportunities want you. You keep getting lucky in ways that make you laugh because of course it worked out for you again.
Of course it did. It always does. It always has.
Y’all have been in my DMs asking me to speak on the CORNELL 7 because you know I teach my boys about consent. So let’s talk about it.
I’m not here to determine anybody’s guilt or innocence. But the conversation happening around this case exposes a much bigger issue with how we teach young people about sex, consent, drugs, alcohol and personal responsibility.
My standard for these boys has NEVER been simply “don’t cross the legal line.”
That’s the floor.
I want them to have enough wisdom, discipline and character to recognize situations they shouldn’t be in to begin with.
I don’t want to raise a technically innocent idiot. I want to raise a wise man.

why aren’t the robots working in the mines and oil fields and handling toxic chemicals or picking plastic out of the ocean? why are they writing emails and making powerpoint presentations? what the hell are we doing
For our mothers back home in Murima who may not fully understand the Swahili or Rusungu, @genz___baddie has nailed it with a clear Kikuyu version explaining how to register as a TEP party member. Sometimes you just need to speak to people in a language they understand.
i’m so free because i could care less about all these insecurities they’ve manufactured for women; dark knees/elbows, back acne, cellulite, strawberry legs; like omg just give me a break
