I feel like some people are completely missing the point of this episode and questioning why the tension between barthtanrak was suddenly toned down from the last ep.

From my understanding, the intention was to shift the focus from lust/desire to love/deep connection. Episode 3 already explored the theme of lust through Tanrak's internal struggle and in ep 4 he even admitted that there were moments when he was "wavering" and even tells Barth that he can't control himself when he's around him. If the story had continued to emphasize only that aspect, it could have made their relationship seem rooted solely by physical attraction. Instead this episode takes the time to show the emotional connection between them. That's why Barth asking, "But are you happy?" feels so significant cuz deep down even he may have feared that Tanrak only saw him as a temptation or a distraction rather than someone he genuinely cared about. So this episode was very imp because it established the foundation of their bond and emotional connection which will make all of their future struggles and choices hit so much harder

di ep4 ini tuh banyak yang bikin aku "anjirrr barth greenflag banget🫠". menurut aku salah satunya di scene ini.

dimana barth denger perkataan tanrak ke master phak yang "kalau suatu hari nanti aku harus memilih, aku akan memilih Tuhan di atas segalanya." dia gak marah, dia gak minta penjelasan tanrak. disitu dia langsung ke lapangan buat tenangin pikirannya karena pasti kata2 tanrak kepikiran banget sama barth. dia pendam. bahkan mungkin sampe nahan nangis makanya tangannya neken hidung gitu🥺🫳🏻

sampe scene dimana tanrak lg ngepel, barth nyamperin, tp tanrak malah diemin dia. dan tanrak kaya nunjukin klo mereka masih di depan Tuhan mereka. dan disaat barth bilang "apa kamu mendengar isi kepalamu sendiri?" disitu tanrak malah diem dan tiba2 pergi.

disitu kayanya barth makin mikir tntg perkataan tanrak ke master phak tadi dan mungkim mulai kepikiran 'berarti apapun yg udah kita lewatin bersama, akhirnya bukan aku pilihannya, ya?' semacem gitu lah.

makanya habis itu pas tanrak tiba2 ngomong 'aku gak bisa ngediliin diri aku' disitu barth langsung nanya 'tapi apa kamu bahagia?' karena barth gmau kalo tanrak aslinya gak bahagia kalo lagi sama barth. takutnya tanrak sekedar suka aja deket sama barth tapi gak bahagia. barth takut klo dia udah bikin tanrak banyak pikiran dan jadinya tanrak gak bahagia🥺

barthtanrak during their movie night here, they were sooooo stinking cute man my jaw hurts from smiling 😞 the way tanrak was actually looking for barth until he saw barth standing there looking at him. look at how barth could easily put a smile on tanrak's face just by showing up :((( then tanrak turned to look at ryu as if he was showing a sign for barth to sit there, so barth walked towards ryu and asked him to move because he told tanrak to sit together earlier. PLEASEEEEE barth is such a clingy baby, he doesn't want to leave tanrak's side and tanrak is just... happy to be with barth anytime anywhere 🥺💘

The most heartbreaking thing when Barth heard Tanrak's conversation with Master was that he watched all three people that he had loved in his life have always put God first even if it meant hurting him.. Its like a reality check for him yet once again. I understand where Tanrak is coming from, loving God is all he has known his whole life, but when Barth heard Tanrak's words, he most probably felt like because of God he is once again being left behind and hurt... It kinda makes sense why its so hard for Barth to turn back to God because in his mind whenever people around him choose God, he ends up getting hurt💔

For actors, scenes that demand this level of emotional intensity are never easy. understanding the character, discussing Barth’s psychological state and carefully rehearsing timing and cues are all extremely important.

Another challenge was that Gemini had to share the scene with highly experienced actors like P’Nok and P’ Tom, which naturally made him quite anxious. we therefore had to manage the entire process carefully, helping the actors feel safe and reducing pressure, while still preserving the emotional intensity required for the scene.

Fortunately the character’s situation in this scene actually helped Gemini a lot. Barth himself is in a state of nervousness, shock and confusion about how to respond to what is happening. those emotions gradually merged with the performance and became a natural driving force on screen.

What we loved most after watching this scene is that we could hardly see Gemini in it anymore. all we saw was Barth, a young man who had suffered psychological wounds from violence that day and had carried those scars for a long time (😭👏🏻👏🏻)

And of course, after filming everyone was smiling and laughing as usual. the final shot confirms it 😊. many thanks to P’Nok and P’Tom for their excellent emotional exchange and support in the scene.
