Last night was a historic event where we saw a new undisputed heavyweight champion in Usyk. A very evenly matched contest but for me the right man won! Usyk was very very impressive in pressing the pace with his footwork and angles to wear the bigger man fury down. The earlier success came from fury because of how big and awkward he was compared to usyk and it took him time to dissect his distance and timing But fury started to slow and usyk got better and better. I believe it should have been stopped but you have to give props to fury for even being able to get through that onslaught of attacks. A close point decision reward to usyk was the right decision and makes for an even better fight in the rematch. Both men should be very proud putting it all on the line! History was made 👏🏼

What a week! I enjoyed every last second off it, now off back to Portugal to spend a couple of well earned weeks of rest and recovery with my wife and daughter!

Already looking forward to getting another fight date sorted out and will have news very soon for you all as 2024’s goal is to be active in championship fights!

Thank you everyone for all your messages of congratulations it has been overwhelming the support I have had and belief after 5 years away from championship fights!
