Few distilleries combine tradition and modernity as effectively as Caol Ila. The distillery is one of Scotland’s most remote, nestled in a cove in Port Askaig, on the tip of Islay. It overlooks the ferocious Sound of Islay, from which it takes its name, and looks across to Jura.

London-based clay enthusiast and talented potter, Bella, turned her attention to glaze chemistry for Fable’s black volcanic clay whisky tumblers and water jugs. ⁣

Each porcelain drinking set Bella has created is completely hand-made and uniquely designed. Black and white porcelain is swirled together during the throwing process to create one-off striking and contrasting patterns to embody the fable of The Ghost of Clanyard Bay.

It all started with an idea... Faye Cunningham, Chris Poulton and the amazing GP Studio team have worked for the past year bringing the legend of The Ghost of Clanyard Bay story to life. Crafting and carefully considering every detail of the brand.

You may recognise the narrator from our animation tale of The Legend of the Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay... This is Jeffrey Rawle, English actor, writer and narrator.

He studied under some of the greatest soloists in Italy, among them, Antonio Petrazzuolo and Antonio De Innocentis were the most important to shape up his musicality.

His artistic curiosity led him to study composition at @RCMLondon

Let us introduce to you the very talented musician, Salvatore Schiano, who composed original music for our first Fable animation.

Salvatore focussed his early career in learning classical guitar, which is the instrument that still inspires him today. (1/2)
