I’m excited to share that @_Onyeakuko was presented at the “#CheckBeforeYouPost: Gen Z Voices Against Disinformation” Exhibition, held under the EU Support to ECOWAS in Peace, Security and Governance (EPSG) Project.

As Nigeria moves towards the 2027 general elections, the information we consume and share will matter more than ever.

Misinformation doesn't just spread online. It can shape public opinion, deepen divisions, undermine trust and influence decisions before the facts have a chance to catch up.

We are building a platform that makes it easier to compare reports from multiple credible news sources, understand different perspectives through unbiased summaries, and make more informed decisions about what we consume and share.

Our goal isn't to tell people what to believe. It's to make it easier for them to check before they believe; and eventually post.

It was inspiring to see young Nigerians bringing creative, technological and cultural solutions to one of the defining challenges of our digital democracy.

Huge appreciation to @fiap_es , @FactC_Africa, the @EU_Commission , @ecowas_cedeao, @GERinNigeria, @DanishMFA, and all the partners behind this initiative for creating a platform where these ideas can be seen, challenged and strengthened.

As we approach 2027, tackling sensationalism and disinformation will only become more important.

😂 This is a funny question, especially coming from a student aiming for a First Class.

You don’t really need anyone to tell you your chances. You know the courses you’ve taken, you know the credit units, and you should be able to calculate different possible outcomes.

I did this more than 20 times throughout my undergraduate days. Before every exam, I’d simulate my CGPA based on different grades I thought I could earn in each course. After the exams, I’d estimate my performance again and recalculate. Then, when the results came out, I’d compare them with my predictions.

If you’re genuinely chasing a First Class and you’ve never simulated your CGPA, I’d question how intentional you’ve been about the goal. 😂
