What’s being done to Claudine Gay & other university professors is a playbook called “wedging.”

1. Attack a target ruthlessly & put them on the defense.
2. Wait for them to say something you can cherry-pick to discredit them with.
3. Amplify the reaction to the target’s allies.

While I understand that some on the left might have wanted a more clear-cut response to that one question, in the context of the grilling they received, they were trapped.

But regardless of your opinion on these university presidents per se or their comments, it’s important to understand that by calling for their resignation based on a blatant smear operation, you are helping the destruction of our education system by people who want us stupid & desperate.

Take a look at the people fascists are suggesting to replace these brilliant women with. This is the hollowing out of our institutions of learning based on manufactured outrage.
