FACT extends sincere thanks to Texas Representative @BrooksLandgraf (District 81) and his staff for hosting a 1:1 meeting in Austin this week.

FACT CEO David Schmahl and Austin-based FACT Inspector Dr. Aravind Ramakrishnan discussed FACT’s founding mission, volunteer peer-driven structure, and the vital role of its Standards and accreditation in promoting safety and quality in cell and gene therapies.

The meeting followed the passage of Texas House Bill 3057, sponsored by Rep. Landgraf. FACT emphasized its commitment to being an open, collaborative resource to all cell and gene therapy stakeholders in Texas as the law takes effect and in future legislative efforts.
