Texas Tech could lose their entire roster & would still play to the exact same style & quality.
Bunch of junkyard dogs who NEVER stop. So aggressive so fearless. Absolutely still capable of a tourney run without JT
A seismic win for Texas Tech at Arizona.
This offsets the Red Raiders' home loss to Kansas a few weeks ago.
And Donovan Atwell?
THE LEAST APPRECIATED TRANSFER IN COLLEGE BASKETBALL.
31 and 13 for JT Toppin.
His life = video game.
United Supermarkets Arena is one of the BEST in the sport. Black out looked sick.
@TexasTechMBB also has a phenomenal team. JT Toppin is a superstar.
Can TTU & UH play every weekend? Favorite matchup in P5 basketball
Send PICS of the arena again please!
Regardless of outcome, this is the best basketball game I’ve seen all year.
Flemings, Toppin, Sharp, and Anderson are all just playing at a ridiculously high level for Texas Tech and Houston.
The coaching matchup between Sampson and McCasland is top notch. Game of the year.
Good game, Ducks! I have always enjoyed your fan base and feel a certain kinship with a fellow new money program. I wish you luck moving forward and happiness annihilating us with your hurtful bookmarks.
The concept of a bye isn’t really the problem, it’s the fact that playoffs don’t *immediately* start after the regular season like the NFL that’s the problem.
Conference championship week + gap + bye is too long for these teams. Gotta start playoffs earlier on the 13th, not the 20th.
Which ultimately probably means you replace a conference championship round with a play-in round so teams can still rest if they are top 2 in a conference but won’t have a bye.
And that means conference championships would be determined by tie breakers rather than a game.
