@markthomasinfo Mark! You were beautiful, as always, tonight. Wanted to stick around and awkwardly sing your praises but people in our party more responsible than I insisted there are things tomorrow we had to leave for. I'll win next time. Much love. Never stop.
@SirPatStew You mentioned this evening that, sometimes at least, you preferred to play other people. I just wanted to say that we loved them all, but none quite so much as your Patrick Stewart.
Big #fire just down the road here in #Bow this evening. I reckon fifteen pumps, three aerials, plus command and control. Walked past again not long ago and there were crews from Soho, Lambeth, Dagenham there.
@FunSoph So the plan, for my colleague and I, was to see our beloved Lancs here dahn sahf. We did not know that Guildford has a festival, and so was sold out. Badgers that we are, hasty pivot down HS1 to Canterbury. Lovely afternoon had by all (both) :)
@legsidelizzy Couldn't agree more. I fully support the zone (I live inside the 406 and had a non-compliant car) but the 'help' is insulting. There should at least be some allowance of exceptions on the charge for people inside the zone who can't afford the difference for a compliant vehicle.
@PercyBlakeney63 Yep. (And I'm not ready for "nip through the side entrance and go via Green Futures, that's a much nicer route" to not be a regular feature of discussions.)
@AlanKelloggs He was legitimately brilliant. Got the distinct feeling he appreciated that it was quite a thing, all these years later, to be on the Pyramid stage with a decent crowd; being part of his big day made it doubly good.
