Always stand by the thought that if Porro played for any team that isn’t Tottenham, it would be common knowledge that he is one of the best full backs in the world. Only Trent, Hakimi and Nuno Mendes can match his attacking ability.
So we are still lacking a good attacker for this transfer window to be amazing.
Kroupi seems like an obvious choice but no new info as of late.
Is there another striker out there that we could get that is of a better calibre?
The same goes for the wing problem? Leao or who?
@AlasdairGold He stated he saw us and brighton as a stepping stone. He is good, really good, but you don't want players that think they are bigger than their club. You can see numerous players that really held a club back with their ego's.
@SonsationalN17 Honestly
Gray is a good squad option, and in no way a starter unless he develops a shit ton over the next couple of years. He will be the next Ben Davies type of player.
Bergvall wants the permanent transfer not spurs
Tel can be good but he wont go on loan
Spence is average
It’s very simple people wanted De Zerbi to save Tottenham last season.
But now want to dictate what players stay because it doesn’t fit their ideal vision.
De Zerbi warned everyone there was only 10 players good enough in the current squad to play for Tottenham.
I like a lot of the squad players but it’s level is 17th, so it means the squad level needs raising, clear to see.
10 players basic math tells you a Spence, Bergvall, Sarr etc could all be sold it’s part of evolution De Zerbi don’t care about fans favourites based on hand shakes or national team involvement.
@mitch_fretton Striker is the position we are lacking. A winger is also important
But Solanke 10 goals and Rich 10 goals a season is not title contender attackers
🏴 Neco Williams 25 (🔵)
🏴 DJed Spence 25 (🟢)
🇪🇸 Pedro Porro 26 (🟣)
• My Opinion
DJed Spence good player but his characteristics too many touches of the ball not getting out to wingers to close down the ball rely purely on his pace, he is too laid back and lacks end product which is key for a full back in today’s game.
Neco Williams is closer to Porro not as good as Porro but does the closing down out wide he does have final product, Williams is calm on the ball, Porro after playing the World Cup will need rest and Gray will be seen as a last resort option if Spence goes makes sense imo.
