@Supergoodpixel@DLoesch You haven't provided any logical argument about how guns kill more per capita and thus, like cars, should be regulated like them.
@Supergoodpixel@DLoesch Because cars kill a lot of people and thus, have been regulated. Guns kill more people per capita, but are not nearly as regulated.
@Supergoodpixel@DLoesch I believe we help alleviate drunk driving and mass shootings at the same time. The sad this is that no drunk driver is going around killing 30+ people at a time like the mass shooters are.
@DJLugoff@DLoesch Just regulate everything like they did in Portugal. All gang violence ended, government made millions and money went to hospitals, drug awareness, and overdose prevention. Overdoses declined dramatically.
@Supergoodpixel@DLoesch How so? Look at how many people use a car each day vs a firearm. It's clear when factoring in deaths for both, per capita, guns kill more.
@Supergoodpixel@DLoesch But it should be illegal for someone to own a gun who hasn't undergone a background check, taken a written and practical test on how to use a firearm, paid for a permit, unable to own assault weapons, etc.
