£17.9M in social value generated by @Future_LeadersP last year.
Independently assessed by GIST Impact, our 2025–26 programme created an estimated £186 in social value for every £1 invested.
Real evidence of what investing in young people can achieve.

Future Leaders UK has secured a significant multi-year grant from @TNLComFund
A major vote of confidence in our impact, our team and our ambition to reach more young people across the UK.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.

£460,410 raised in one night for Terrence Higgins Trust.
A brilliant Spectrum Gala bringing organisations together behind a cause that continues to change lives.
Proud to see inclusion backed by action, not only words.
Thank you Liz Bailey for the invitation.
“There are moments that make you, and moments that break you.”
Proud to celebrate Ritika Wadhwa and Not Optional. It was a privilege to MC the launch with 200 people in the room, and an honour to be included in the acknowledgements.
A must-read on Cultural Intelligence.
150 young people across the West Midlands spent two days with @HSBC_UK exploring degree apprenticeships offering a salary, university qualification, professional experience and a route into employment.
This is social mobility in action.

Today I’m speaking at the National Sixth Form Careers Summit.
My message to school leaders: start earlier, treat university and apprenticeships equally, build confidence alongside applications and bring employers into the room.
Young people have ambition. They need access.
What does a Dream Team look like? 💙
Nine people, one mission: creating opportunities for young people.
Our Future Leaders UK strategy day brought us together to reflect on our impact and shape our 2030 vision.
Proud of this team and excited for what's next!

Almost one year as a proud Haberdasher.
Being part of The Haberdashers’ Company has given me the opportunity to support schools, mentor young people and connect with others committed to opening doors for the next generation.
Tradition matters most when it creates opportunity.
I’m delighted to welcome Katy Thompson as Future Leaders UK’s new Director of Strategic Projects.
With 14 years’ experience and SENCO expertise, Katy will help strengthen how we support neurodivergent and disabled young people.
Inclusion must be built in from the start.
I’m delighted that Future Leaders UK has received a grant from the Westminster Foundation.
Westminster is home to some of Britain’s most powerful institutions, yet 43.5% of children experience income deprivation.
Proximity to opportunity does not always mean access to it.
Eight years ago, this began as a passion project. Today, we support 20,000 young people across 18 hubs.
This year, we are supporting young people from age 14.
No selection. No minimum grades. Every applicant gets a place.

I stand with Lord Simon Woolley.
Simon is my mentor, a patron of Future Leaders UK and someone who has spent decades opening doors for others.
Representation matters. Speaking out against injustice should not mean having your own right to belong questioned.
Professor Jason Arday told our young people: “When you have good thoughts, you must do good deeds.”
Yesterday, I joined thousands in Trafalgar Square to remember him.
Representation means little if belonging is still questioned.
Rest in power, Jason. 🕊️
This one is for our @Future_LeadersP team.
This year, we supported 18,000+ young people, expanded into new regions and opened doors to life-changing opportunities.
None of it happens without this team.
Thank you for believing in the mission.

Degree apprenticeships should be engines of social mobility.
But young people from the wealthiest areas are around twice as likely to secure one as those from poorer communities.
Talent should decide who gets access, not privilege.

I am delighted to be joining the judging panel for the @DWPgovuk Apprenticeships and Skills Awards 2026.
Apprenticeships can change lives and open real routes into careers for talented young people, regardless of background.

It is one thing to receive an honour. It is another to receive it beside your mentor. Thank you, Lord Simon Woolley. Someone opens a door for you; you spend your life holding it open for others.

Proud that @Future_LeadersP was one of just five youth organisations invited by the UK Government to a national enterprise event. Our young people weren't talking about the future they were designing it. 🚀
