Fairfax County police officers are trying to do their jobs, make arrests, and keep the streets clean. Meanwhile, Jay Jones and Steve Descano look the other way. Families should not have to worry about repeat offenders walking free because of weak enforcement by the prosecutor and attorney general who refuse to do their jobs. Virginia needs a senator who backs the badge, not one who enables people like Descano and Jones.

House Democrats just confirmed that socialism and the communist playbook are on the ballot this November. 192 House Democrats voted against a resolution condemning socialism, communism, and the 100 million deaths those dangerous ideologies have wrought over time, while an additional 205 Democrats voted to pack the U.S. Supreme Court.

For members of Congress who swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution, condemning socialism and defending the integrity of the Supreme Court shouldn’t be a controversial vote. Sadly, for today’s Democrats, they are.

At our GOP primary debate, one of the questions was about congressional stock trading. My opinion is that first and foremost, we need to be sending men and women of integrity to Congress. We need representatives whose actions align with the priorities they campaigned on. This is the only chance we have at restoring people's faith that the government is working for them.

I then disclosed that about 10% of my retirement savings is still in individual stocks, and pledged that the day I'm elected, I'll move it into broad-based index funds and report it. Not because a law made me, but because I said I would.

Rep. Subramanyam says something similar on his own website: he "supports preventing Members of Congress from trading individual stocks." Then on July 22, he voted no on the bill that would have actually done it.

What makes it worse is that the bill didn't just restrict stock trading in Congress, it also required voter ID to vote, two separate ideas that roughly 80% of Americans support, combined into one vote. He voted against both.

That's the difference between integrity and a talking point. VA-10 deserves a representative whose word and whose vote match.

*For the record, I'd go further than the bill did. It didn't require members to sell stock they already own, and it left the President and Vice President out entirely. I think it should cover both.

BREAKING: In a rare instance of cooperation, DHS confirms to @FoxNews that Fairfax County, VA transferred 19-year-old Salvadoran illegal alien sexual predator Israel Flores Ortiz to ICE’s custody after his release from jail today. Ortiz was convicted of groping nine girls as young as age 13 in the halls of Fairfax High School and had been sentenced to six months behind bars.

Ortiz is now in ICE detention.

A DOJ immigration judge issued a deportation order against him earlier this month.

ICE will now seek to deport him.

A large amount of political pressure had built up around this case for the notorious sanctuary county.

Senator Warner dropped in for a video, but the great residents of the Southwest see right through it. The people of SWVA have lived with the results of his votes for years. Grants don’t replace lost jobs, high energy costs, or a senator who treats the region like a campaign stop. They deserve someone who truly represents them, not just uses the region as cheap social media content.
