O Allah, forgive my father [Ibrahim Lawal] and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it. Ameen 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Today, I will post my endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term. It’s a decision based on my personal conviction that the long-term reforms, strategic vision and ongoing achievements of his administration deserve continuity to deliver their full benefits to Nigeria.

Dear Anonymous,
I spent my entire university life at ABU Zaria hitting back to back first class GPA for 6 semesters in Political Science. My very first GPA was 4.79/5.00 which was the overall best in the whole faculty of social science consisting of over 600 students. I maintained it for almost my entire university life.
Unfortunately, In the first semester of my final year, my CGPA dropped to 4.47 exactly like you, with just one semester to go (see my pinnned tweet). I needed a 5.00 GPA in the final semester including research project to achieve my dream of graduating with a first class and breaking the record in a program that no one believed first class was possible. I was stuck between giving up to avoid last minute heartbreak or try to break a longstanding record as first class in political science was impossible for over 40years and hitting 5.00 CGPA in final semester was something students used to say only God could achieve. The two final year courses were enough hell, but I also needed ‘A’ in research project which further complicated things. Hundreds have tried, Hundreds have failed. People used to mock me in the library saying “haba scholar, in the end it’s just second class upper” just like those who tried before me.
However, I remained focused and locked in with hardwork and prayers. I had to travel twice to my village, stayed for weeks without electricity just to get data for my final year project. I stayed back in school during first semester holiday while everyone else went home to their families. During the dark days of no light on campus, I used ABU streetlights to study outside. Sometimes, I entered the bush behind the hostel to sit around trees to study during exams when libraries got overcrowded (until snake killed one old woman). Those who were close to me said I was going crazy and nicknamed me “books”.
Today, I am proud to tell you that I have a record breaking first class degree from ABU which has changed my life forever. I featured in several newspapers & blogs for achieving the impossible, bagged a fully funded EU scholarship which resulted in me bagging two more first class degrees from the UK & Netherlands and currently working as the only black Analyst in my team at a silicon valley tech giant with a less than 1% global job acceptance rate.
All these dreams were possible because I didn’t give up
I didn’t listen to people
I worked hard and prayed and the almighty lifted me in his blessings.
I hope my story motivates you and others like you who are considering giving up.
And if you see this, please send me a DM I would like to know & support you personally.
Lmaooooo this is why people hate AFTV
Ya all too toxic for this team…
How dare you tell Saka to drop number?
Our starboy….
If Vini like he should win everything in Arsenal he can never and will never be loved like SAKA
We all want Vini but we are not trading SAKA for no damn player. Even if it means Arsenal not winning anything we like him like that
@AFTVMedia Curtis is a fucking moron. He is why people hate Arsenal fans. Saka will be one of the greatest in our club’s history, and undoubtedly the greatest academy product. Arsenal runs through his blood.
Absolutely fucking moronic to even say this publicly.
@neo_officialll Never in your entire life mention Yoruba in your inferiority complex conversation again, you people are talking about your useless language and you keep inserting Yoruba language.
The problem i have with people like this is their children will begin to claim ethnicity in other people’s hometowns because they lost their identity.
They will also be upset when others speak their indigenous language just because their own parents were myopic.
Lemme be clear once again. If we are not signing Vini Jr, Kvaratskhelia or Desire Doue or that level of LW, leave my Martinelli for me. You can have bums like Morgan Rogers, Barcola and co, we are good over here.
The son of a family friend was tested by Allah;
His visited a friend’s shop, and the friend brought him back home in his sister’s car.
The boy forgot his phone inside and only realised at night. Upon realising, he called his friend and asked him to contact his sister to check if she had seen the phone in her car.
She checked and confirmed that she had. He then said he would come pick up his friend so they could go to the sister’s house to collect it. He took his aunt’s car. Before leaving, his very young brother pleaded to come along, but he refused. The aunt, however, insisted, so he agreed.
On the way, they had an accident. He crashed into a pole, which fell on three people on a bike( siblings on their way home. )His younger brother died, and his friend broke his neck and passed away the next day. That’s five lives gone. Subhanallah. The driver survived with broken ribs and is currently admitted in hospital.
Please say some prayers for the departed souls. May Allah forgive their shortcomings and grant them Jannah, and may Allah make it easy for the driver in this trying time.
