As we engage in internal disputes and hate towards each others, some politicians benefit from the situation. It is crucial to recognize that those who were previously silent are now promoting division.

We must understand that we are all affected by the same failed policies of the Governments.

International students are already under immense pressure. Many of them 18 or 19. Away from home and support network for the first time. Financial burdens. Don't want to say anything of their challenges to not burden their parents who may have mortgaged everything to give them a better life. Suicides are happening. Mental health precarious. With all these excellent new LMIA exempt TR pathways to support global mobility and movement of people to Canada; our PR programs seriously need a redesign. Just pull the plug on the fraud ridden, laborious and abusive closed WP LMIA scheme. You’re doing it for tech, why not do it for trades and healthcare already so our public services, genuine business, and housing can keep up? Candidates need more +++ points for skilled Canadian work experience and factors such as time, money, education and taxes spent in Canada. Zero points for fake job offers. @SeanFraserMP #cdnimm

Visa processing times are not 802 days for new applications. Currently, a complete TRV application from Pakistan will be processed in 60 days, and we expect to hit 30 days in the near future.

IRCC's Twitter account says, that if you have an ITA already, then you don't need to provide additional funds, to meet the "updated" proof of funds. You may follow the old POF requirement.

However, my suggestion to you is, to just make sure you have additional funds in your account anyways. It's just a matter of a few 100$$ additional.

Does anyone know what's happening at #IRCC? After waiting for a long time, some of us have received a correspondence letter regarding our spouses' OWP. This likely means that the final decision was made around 3 weeks ago, but we're still waiting for the official decision letter!
