it looks very ethereal and it preserves that "sketchy" loose quality of the pencil sketch that often gets lost after using a fineliner before coloring.

im planning to put colored pencil over this marker layer to add depth and details next

I'm trying a new technique (new for me) that ive seen other artists do where you use a kneaded eraser to halfway erase the pencil sketch and then color over the faded lines with marker

I usually line the drawing in ink and then erase the sketch before coloring, but I like this.
