🚨🎙️ Luis Figo talking about Joao Neves comments on Cristiano Ronaldo
“It’s obvious some of the players dont want him in the team. He might be holding them back but they need to remember what he has done for this country
Young Cristiano wouldn’t have needed anybody’s help to score a goal. He won matches on his own and carried this country single-handedly for years. He made Portugal popular. Cristiano is Portugal, they need to support him and give him the send off he deserves
Cristiano respected the seniors in the team when he got his first call up to the team. There are many players in that squad that are filled with arrogance. What have they achieved? nothing. They need to remember he is the reason why we believe we can win the World Cup. He is everybody’s inspiration”.👏
While filming a movie in 2014, Jackie Chan sang "Rolling in the Deep" with a group of Mongolian locals after finding out that they knew the song by heart, even though they don’t speak English 😁
It was never part of the movie script.
Be honest with us. When you played with him in 2004, could you have ever imagined he would become this? When we talk about the greatest of all time and Ronaldo is mentioned alongside Messi, Maradona, and the rest, where do you rank him?”
🗣️ Luís Figo:
“He played with me (laughs), not the other way around. Back then, he was 18, a winger, still growing. But you could already see he was an amazing talent. He had technique, he was very fast, he could use both feet and he could jump. It was clear he was special.
I have the biggest admiration for him. He is an example. He has taken Portugal’s name everywhere. The records, the competitiveness, the mentality to always improve and win. For me, only good words about what he has done in the history of football.
I do not like to compare. If you compare, someone always loses. Each one has made his own history. Maradona is different from Messi. Messi is different from Cristiano. Different qualities, different eras. I prefer to admire what each one did for football. It is like comparing caviar and truffle. Both are great.
And of course, some people prefer one style over another. Maybe some like Cristiano’s style more, others prefer Messi. At the end of the day, It depends on the taste of each person.”
According to YB Rafizi Ramli’s advice, the public is encouraged to make peace with the past and to ensure that there will never be another 1MDB 2.0 in Malaysia.
That principle is sound, but reconciliation cannot be selective.
If Farhash is merely “under monitoring,” that is not closure.
Tukar Azam? There has been no resolution yet.
Samsul Iskandar? There is still no basis for reconciliation.
Reform is not about emotional closure; it is about institutional accountability.
Without transparent outcomes, the call to “move on” risks becoming a demand for collective amnesia.
UMNO’s attempt to reposition itself as the leading force in government cannot be taken seriously without first demonstrating genuine internal reform, accountability, and a clear break from past abuses of power.
As for PN, any political coalition that continues to underestimate Sabah and Sarawak, treating them as passive or politically naïve, only reinforces the very centre-periphery imbalance that has damaged national unity for decades.
This is not a rejection of stability.
It is a demand for credibility.
We follow principles, not personalities.
We follow reform, not convenience.
The show must go on.
Always be informed
