Diamond laid her 1st egg this morning 🥰 with new mate Gimbir.
I wasn’t expecting to see eggs this year after Xavier’s disappearance 🥚

It seems Diamond may have a new partner already. He is a young male & has visited the nest box several times to bond with Diamond. Hopefully next year 🤞

Looks like it’s just 3 eggs this year…now for long wait till they hatch, which is usually around 34 days 🐣 (aprox)

🔴 UPDATE…Orange, NSW 🔴
It seem the resident male here, Xavier has gone missing 😢 he was last seen on the 27th August.
Looks like there will be no eggs here this year 💔
