At least get the quotes right. Here’s what you wrote, Annie: “When I got hurt at the Connecticut game last year, I bawled in Steph’s arms,” Clark said. “That’s somebody I will ride for the rest of my life.”

Stephanie White is exactly who the Indiana Fever wanted to lead the Caitlin Clark-era.
A year in, one of the biggest hurdles she faces is managing the effects of the microscope on Clark and consequently the entire organization.

@michelles2cool Nobody should give her a pass for one game. This s has been happening and happening again, and there's still no sign of accountability from the coach.
@RomeovilleKid Without accountability from coaching, you get coaches losing games to prove their authority. When it gets so losing games to save face, the coach has not only lost the team, she's lost her job.
@CCbabygoat If her ego keeps her from taking accountability, her ego is going to hurt the team, because she'd rather blame Caitlin than admit she's got the wrong schemes.
@Goofymeek@sportingnews CC is saying what PR needs her to say. Stephanie White just stated she's sitting her at the same time every game (even tho she's not) so what is that but scheduled maintenance. It's an argument over semantics, not a question of bad or malicious reporting.
