@7tspvanilla As someone who self harms lowkey yea.
Normally i get really worked up, start crying, tell myself its okay, let my anger explode a bit and complain to myself how unfair it is, and then breathe deeply and go get a snack or something to drink from the fridge and move on
You ever just kinda realise that you haven't really been living your life but life has just sort of reluctantly been happening to you? No? Just me? Okay
@zoemoding@tinglespoon Lowkey gind a purpose. Acknowledge every little positive thing
Brush your teeth today? Yayyy, you THOUGHT about brushing teeth? Yayy better than nothing
You left the house? You texted someone back? You got out of bed to watch tv?
Every little thing. Train yourself to be happy
@tinglespoon Literally its a form of trauma imo too, like you get so depressed that you can't access happiness, and then your brain gets convinced it wont work, you try and the depression wins out enough that you end up in a loop unril you either stop being depressed, or brute force through
one of the things that rlly sucks about depression is that you cant tell someone that has it what the solution to any of their problems are because theyve already heard it and just dont believe it because it sounds fucking stupid
@verbose5432@Y40IFRQTTING@etymologycrepe It quite literally does lol. Having no one understand your internal world is extremely isolating.
You can be lonely surrounded by people
genuine question literally what do you journal about if you're someone whose life just consists of the same problems that have perpetuated for years and there's not much outside that like
i wasn’t ‘present’ for a good number of years in my life. from like 18-23. i’m 25 now. looking back and realizing i was mindlessly moving, connections weren’t true, didn’t know who i was or what i really wanted for myself, made me kinda sad and resentful for a lot of reasons.
All i want is an energy drink and because im on a mental health hold im being denied.
I havent even been told anything about whats happening
Istg im gonna start bashing my head into walls and running away if they say no to letting my friend/wife visit me
Had a suicidal breakdown again, begged for help, immediately got distressed when they offered a welfare check.
Why am i trapped between isolation or reliving traumatic experiences and losing my rights
Those who are suicidal due to mental illness are not happily anticipating death like a kid waiting for Santa. They fear it just like everyone else & don’t want to die. The pain is horrendous. Do you know how badly one must feel to believe that death is a better option than life?
@leftunsents then they give up helping you because you’ve gotten so annoying and tiring to them when you’re genuinely just wishing people would understand you’re not baiting it’s just a continuous battle of being passively and actively suicidal

wanting victims to heal bc u can’t stand to hear their criticisms of the world is the same bullshit fake kindness of “please go to therapy” go fuck urselves lol
