my oldest memory is stealing my parents house keys and trying to figure out how they fit into the inside door lock knob thing.. I eventually managed to turn it and unlock it despite the keys not fitting into it, and then I went outside and my parents chased after me..

over this next year. So while I am proud of myself for getting as far as I have, I'm hoping a year from now I can look back on today and really feel proud of myself for where I've gotten by then. I hope next year I can write these thoughts out in japanese over english at least..

the harder years of my life that I've gone through for sure. So, with that in mind, I am very happy with my progress, yet I can't shake a nagging feeling that I could be further with my learning. I've never dedicated myself to something like I have this, and I want to do better
I've started taking melatonin nightly and it's awesome except it gives me weird nightmares about geopolitics... last night I had a dream the US bought Japan and was going to ban people from learning japanese...
