I couldn’t afford a ps3-> I got a ps2 since things were cheaper on it. That was my anecdotal experience.
Someone wants to get into gaming(2026):
PS5 is too fucking expensive-> I say get a PS4 as it’s cheaper with a more accessible and developed library

I used the ps3 as an ANECDOTE. Because when I was old enough to want to play games I couldn’t afford one so I got into the ps2 because it was much cheaper.
