Playing Hades 2 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Hades 2 is phenomenal, a good sequel to the first game (haven't beat Chronos yet). The story is and does feel much more serious
Exp 33 i feel the combat is good, solid rpg mechanics and story but the visuals are... mixed feelings
GTA 6 would've made its budget back many times over even at $20 a copy. It isn't $100 because it has to be. It's $100 because they wanted to find the ceiling of what consumers would accept, and consumers immediately showed them they could push higher.
Nintendo proved the exact same thing. Companies don't set prices based on fairness. They set them based on what they can get away with.
@madis259 If the game and the character had a more psychological aspect and it had more focus on that isolation part I would agree.
But since the chief is always with him in-game the whole "it's not even his family" thing feels... just so unnecessary... at least to me
@TheNCSmaster Also, just because we roughly know the game's total cost to Rockstar doesn't mean we should look at it and go "yeah this should be 100 dollars! They have to recoup costs". Brother, I'm the consumer, idgaf that sounds like a Rockstar problem not mine. I'll wait for a sale idc
I actually don't think we need another console generation or any gaming hardware upgrades for awhile.
These guys still barely optimize the games they already produce and we know that's not a hardware limitation.
Games don't need to look better, they need to play better.
Meterme en el hoyo que es Warhammer 40k solo me hace entristecerme un poco más de que Space Marine 2 no tenga doblaje al español. Siento que de verdad sería una JOYA con la dirección y actores correctos
It sucks that Halo: Campaign Evolved are opting for Pre-rendered cutscenes instead of real-time cause we won't ever get to replicate these kind of gems there.
I mean it's ridiculous to try to confirm that they were or they weren't when there isn't a unanimous response from og devs, and some of them saying it was never supposed to actually be answered
What even is the point of arguing if forerunners were humans at some point or another in Halo's development? If it's for the fun of it like a fun fact sure. I think you can safely say it was considered.
But to die on the hill that they were or they weren't is kinda just... why?
and i think the H3 terminals maybe also say that but idk I never read those and since we're extracting information from outside the games then we can say Frank O'connor had pretty free reign at a late stage of development so we can't really consider them to be definitive as well
