The Special Editions were fine. I like some of the scenes. I don’t know why people get so worked up. I would have preferred Lucas make more movies than redoing the originals.

I actually don’t mind most of the special edition changes. I’d say about 80% of them were positive changes.

But I do think strict time limits, deadlines, challenges, etc can force creativity and problem solving that wouldn’t have been there with unlimited time and resources.
