Social situations and interactions include multiple or several people. Why is the burden of bridging communication differences and “management” of the situation mostly placed on the autistic person? We need to acknowledge the role of hostile and inaccessible environments.

@autismtalknd And why is this question always asked and yet not of others who try to represent? Charities? Clinicians? Who has the power to represent autistic people in general? Where are autistic people invited to be represented at all?
