Looking at adding a set of drops to a 1300B rogator for in season corn. Does anyone have any experience with the EZ Drop brand? Their literature says they can do a full 120’ setup. Any other recommendations? Is 60 ft better?
@Bkitch1Bodie@zach_profit Yes works well. This is our second year with it. Was originally a twin 20” planter from the factory. Someone converted it to a twin 30” planter which we have been doing for years.
@freconfarmer@buperac I googled him. Big time commercial/industrial real estate guy in Winnipeg. Sold it all before the crash in 07. Bought a bunch of cheap ground starting in 2011.
@sschevelle33 Need to look at historical county data though to make sure it makes sense. Some counties pay like slot machines. Others don’t make much sense to add SCO, only ECO. SCO soybeans if very county dependent.
@sschevelle33 Heavily subsidized products help add dollars of coverage even if they are county based triggers. If you are at or above county avg most times it makes sense to add. If you trigger at 75% RP, ECO would like max pay in the case. Cheaper than going from 80 to 85%.
