@neilquinlan @Farming_Hour varies. Gimmers have thick stuff, rocket fuel. Couple of ml of that enough. Older ewes will have more milky stuff

@neilquinlan @Farming_Hour rely on the ewe. Unusual for them not to have enough or for there to be no other ewe to borrow from.

@Farming_Hour have some mix on standby, but only use if absolutely necessary. Better to make sure ewes are well fed. Lifeline buckets help.

Do you use extra colostrum? I know some brands uses cows milk. Have you had any experience? #farminghour

@Farming_Hour Iodine a must&clean bedding for fresh lambs. If lambs slow My girls milk real easy so get lashing of colostrum into lamb ASAP

@Farming_Hour full belly cures most things. Get them out ASAP, subject to that and the weather.
