Thanks to @Girl21Bassoon for her help getting the chicken run secure and ready for winter. It’ll still be cold but no wind or precipitation will get in. Just in time for the storm tomorrow.

On June 16th we received our new chicks at Cluckingham Palace. We wanted a colorful egg basket to enjoy along with our beautiful girls. I think we can say mission accomplished. Eggs will go up for sale December 26th for $3.00 a dozen. Thanks to #PurinaLayena we have #HappyHens

We received our first egg from this girls today. A nice olive colored egg. The ceramic eggs worked in showing them where to lay.

It was a productive day on Phillips Farm. I reused some plywood to build new doors on the coop/shed. Then used some of an old tarp to waterproof the coop so we don’t have the same issue as last winter.
