Ever tried mizuna? This Asian green is delicious (and in season ๐). It's a sort of spicy tangy flavor with really tender greens. Great in a salad or for flavor in a stir fry.
It's so nice to have something fresh and local this time of year like Raquel's Pea Shoots. Nothing trucked in from far away compares to these tasty microgreens.
The secret (or at least one of them) to all those gorgeous veggies we see all summer is a good plan. Here's Scott planning for what's going where this year @shoshoneriverfarm
Mmmmmm....that WAS a tasty burger! If you're in the mood for a burger, give Wyoming Natural Burger a try on the hill going up to 14 and Stampede intersection! (Glen fries his fries in local beef fat. They taste scrumtrelescant that way!)
Compost: Without this black gold, we can't have beautiful fresh veggies in Wyoming. Big round of applause for the bazillion tiny microorganisms eating and pooping so we can eat the Good Stuff!
