Iman. Health. Family.
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There are two blessings that many people are deceived into losing: health and free time."
@paulsaladinomd Doesn’t matter what they put in it. It will never be in the same ballpark as breast milk. They want us to believe our bodies are inherently flawed and require man made fixes, and this is especially believable by people who think we come from monkeys by chance/accident.
@chiefbacher Stop trying to “lose weight.” This is a big scam to sell programs and diets. Every endeavor hits a long plateau. As for the “weight”, you are retaining/gaining muscle. Keep going and remember genetics as well.
@MichelleHurnRD Long distance running is a choice, not a requirement for optimal health. It also has nothing to do with credibility as a nutritionist. Unfortunately, misinformed dieticians and nutritionists are giving the good ones a bad rep.
@gregoryeck The Internet is an alternate reality with the lines blurring with each generation. It’s now or never to teach our youth before all of us pre-Internet truthers are gone.
@1NoCaGal Stay away from doctors. Not kidding. They are not trained on keeping you healthy. Only go to a hospital for trauma. I know so many people who’s health was destroyed by listening to their doctors. Came out way worse than when they went in. 🙌🏾
@BenBikmanPhD I don’t think anyone can ever PROVE anything relating to human nutrition, but it may be interesting to see how those who participate respond.
There is way too much emphasis on obesity. It take all of the attention away from the millions of unhealthy thin people. Not all obese people are unhealthy. Sure it would help to lose body fat, but most people think in generalizations and stereotypes. Every thin person I know looks at me like I’m crazy when I recommend they try the carnivore diet for their health issues. They always respond, “but I don’t need to lose weight.”
