@justagu71135181@AngstPale90843@thereal_SnS sure. no one thinks no guns should exist at all. that's just a strawman. but should guns be able to be purchased by basically anyone? no. our violent gun crime rate is 22x higher than that of europe. so lets not act like gun laws don't work
@thereal_SnS your link doesn't use data from rhe fbi. it twists the data from the fbi which is exactly what i showed in my article that i responded with. surely nothing strange ab the fact that all you guys have the same exact source. this is literally the classic republican playbook.
@ChrisAPofahl@thereal_SnS that's not an example of mass shootings. that's petty criminal gun use. how many times has an armed guy flaunted his gun outside a school before the shooter was about to go in, and the shooter walks away?
@billwaring@dullhawk@thereal_SnS what do you think a gun free zone us exactly? do you think people are living in schools and stuff? this isn't some widespread issue preventing people from acquiring guns
@mes4icon@thereal_SnS okay i looked it up. now here's the part where you say "oh that's wrong actually" without providing any source. that's why it should be on you to give me the evidence so i can dispute it with mine. rather than you waiting for me to give the evidence and just say im wrong
@dullhawk@thereal_SnS what was the pivot. the entire point is to show that good guys with guns don't stop mass shootings at any meaningful rate. this idea that a good guy with a gun is always nearby to step in when things get messy is completely delusional. it simply doesn't happen at scale
