The economy didn't grow at all in January.

"Monthly GDP showed no growth. Services showed no growth, production fell by 0.1%, and construction grew by 0.2% in January 2026," reported the ONS today

One of the few areas of growth in the stats was car repairs - caused by potholes. That says it all.
