Jesus Christ has saved my life. It took months of trial and error, but now I can say I’ve found and followed God. He’s taught me from my old ways, cleansed me of my sin and has given me a new way, Jesus (John 14:6). I love you dearly, for you are my brother. You’ve shown me kindness and love even if you weren’t religious. And now, I’m here to return the favor. There is good news; there is peace and eternal life available to you. There is discipline, purpose, strength, family and love. There is hope, there is resilience and there is courage. There is a life you’ve always craved on a deeper level, the life god has called you to live. And guess what brother? You can live it. You can experience the peace god has in store for you. But I’m gonna be honest, it’s gonna cost a lot. A lot more than you think. Your friends won’t want to talk to you, you’ll be exiled from family reunions and you’ll be socially outcast from your colleagues. The world will hate you. But to quote our Lord and Savior, “if the world hates you, just remember, that it has hated me first.” (John 15:18) He will free you from your lack of purpose, your insecurity, your trauma and your pain. You will be healed. But to whom much in given, much is expected. Luke 9:23-24: “Who ever is to call himself a follower of mine, must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. Who ever try’s to save their life will lose it, but whoever gives it up willingly for my sake will save it.” And I know this may seem weird, but’s let’s remember who Jesus is for one moment. Jesus is the same guy who was publicly executed for you. Jesus is the same guy who picked you back up every time you fell, even if you didn’t realize it. Jesus is the same guy who loves you even if you hate him. Because Jesus Christ IS love. Understand that. Understand the depth of how much he loves you, and your life will never be the same. I’m writing this to you Chance. Here’s your way out. Here’s the light you’ve been looking for, the message you’ve been waiting to hear. Here’s the calling, the work, the path, the way. You just gotta choose it brother. I love you man, and so does Jesus. I keep you in my prayers, may god bless you.
