@MadiBalk in Atlanta. We need to let die what we believe a rise to be (ramp ball thrown fast and hard), and see what it really is: a back-spinning pitch. At over 4,000 revolutions per minute, transverse spin defines this pitch.

National Champs! Thank you (USSSA Pride 18u Zak) for having me this weekend! I pitched 28.2 innings with 63K’s, 5 walks, 2 HBP, 8 hits, and only 1 run scored. At one point I had 30K’s in 10 consecutive innings. I received the Tournament MVP and the Most Outstanding Pitcher Award!
