Financial Advisor told me today it would be “FOOLISH” not to hold a substantial crypto position.

@cardano_whale@3orovik Eth is closer to ATH than most and has undeniable first mover advantage…and I’m sure it’ll pump.
But to the average user, Solana seems to be filling the role of hosting the “L2 meme casino playground”. Solana is a nonsense chain but that is irrelevant to retail.
Longtime Cardano holder, first time (real) poster.
My initial introduction to Cardano was from a fellow software friend. It was presented like every other coin, “THIS IS DIFFERENT, we swear!”. But once I looked into the project I was convinced. There’s a fatal flaw in software dev where typically the devs are forced to ship product within a deadline no matter the outcome. Devs know this, “normies” don’t.
Cardano was a deviation from the corporate, PM, bullshit method of developing software. It’s engineer first. But more importantly it was DESIGN FIRST. It was thought out from the start with multi-year roadmap and not “built, patched, built around, patched again, okay what’s happening, WHATEVER SHIP!”
That is what gave me, truthfully, almost BLIND confidence in Cardano. Any development methodology that prioritizes CORRECTNESS over speed/politics/ego/blahblah should thrive. If we are to run zero-fail mission-critical 100% uptime systems on blockchain, the Cardano approach should be the model.
If Cardano isn’t the ultimate solution, there should be an improvement upon it, not a tradeoff from it. But as of today, no chain has achieved anything close.
Simple analysis, I know. But it rings true for a lot of everyday people.
