@Corforbid Unless you did it about a gang or crime family, it would have to be a new villain every week, which runs the risk of it turning into all the other shows. Unless the one villain keeps getting away with it.

@Corforbid I think that's the downside to 'procedural' shows like that, SVU, NCIS, etc. When they run out of material, they rehash something they did several seasons ago, or do something so head-scratchingly, bat-shit crazy that it makes the viewer question why they still watch it.

12/17 update:
The boys tested positive today. Daughter is still negative. Previously bed-ridden son is more active today. We are overloading on soup and juice today. I may combat my infection with whisky tonight.
