Some days it is hard — exhausting and embarrassing — to be this out of shape. My back hurts when I stand for “too long,” which isn’t long at all. If a room isn’t my ideal temperature (cold), I sweat too much. I don’t want this kind of a life, but man… it sure is hard to change.

I need to get myself back in fighting shape. If I feel better physically, I know I will feel even just slightly better mentally. I have to figure this out. I gotta get the balance back.

Not gonna lie, this weekend has left me feeling incredibly discouraged about particular passions. While so much of it is me and how life has made it so I can’t be as active as I was when this whole thing started, I do feel a bit left behind.

I need to find my way back to the path. I’m really the only obstacle in my way. Consistency is key, but I have to be at a point where I am willing and able to be consistent.

Something about the NASA astronauts suggesting names for the newly discovered craters and people’s reaction to it reminds me that there is still good here. No matter how much Donald Trump wants to destroy goodness and empathy and care… there’s still some fucking good here.
