Wouldn’t the European grid collapse be a good use case for Megapacks to bleed off the excess grid power and prevent or reduce the cascade shutdowns? @Tesla@elonmusk
@Baeloch@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Saw this a while back and sub’d. Still waiting for the follow up videos. Did they get a Tesla? Is she getting him to the doctor’s appointments? We’re all waiting to find out! Go FSD! 🤭
@RealRayLester @iamcomcy@_milankovac_ Comparing chargers to gas station avail: live in Midwest, trips to Chicago,St.Louis,Cincinatti, never stressed about reaching a charger. Next month to S.FL. Looks like 5-20min stops(with kids) to cover the 1100+ mi.Doesn’t seem much diff than the gas trips. 🤷🏻♂️ Tesla owner 203 days
@RealRayLester @iamcomcy@_milankovac_ Hi Ray, this is true, but how often are you going 500 miles in a shot, on repeat? There are cases, I’m sure. But daily? Weekly? My wife drives 843mi/wk average and rarely runs out of charge in a day. Charges at night, Every morning “full tank” ZERO time spent actively waiting.
@1BADVET@_milankovac_ SCs here are .22-.42/kWh and you’d really only charge there between 20&80%. So 45kWh max. However, leave home with 80-100%, drive a couple hundred miles & need a little juice to get back home with 10-20% left. So u spend $5-6 & the car says u can reach home & charge up for $4 😁
@1BADVET@_milankovac_ The other commenters hit the general price ranges if you want to think about it compared to a gas vehicle.
With an EV you charge differently than you fill a gas tank. Generally, at a supercharger, you only charge enough to get to your next destination+10-20% buffer. Home is less
@Tesla@elonmusk can we have an option to change the backup sound on my Model Y to the Jaws two note danger motif? E-F or F-F# 😁 duunnn dunn, duunnn dunn
That would be epic! 😅 Thanks
@erling super fan Arthur will be at the Ohio training and game. He’d love to get a photo with you! He’ll be in the corner at training and toward the end of the bench at the game.
@RepLarryBucshon Has there been any consideration for college students who are still dependents but cannot work due to campus closings? They seem to have been left out of the current bill. (I have 3)
