Ruto LIES that Kibaki grew debt 300% (0.6T to 1.8T), Uhuru 500% (1.8T to 10.3T), and that under him it has grown “only 27%” (10.3T to 13T). That 10.3T starting point is false.

THE FACT
When Uhuru left and unfortunately Ruto was sworn in (2022), official debt was about KSh 8.8 trillion, not 10.3 trillion.

10.3 trillion appeared around 2023 — already under Ruto.

Ruto, count from handover, not from a year later:
• Kibaki: 0.6T → 1.8T
• Uhuru: 1.8T → 8.8T
• Ruto: 8.8T → 13T

That is about KSh 4.3 trillion added in only four years, roughly +50%, not +27% in five years.

Ruto were you not the Deputy President the whole time when the debt went from 1.8T to 8.8T?
