@johnrobinson07 He was playing out of position, quite clearly not a wing back. Though he did create our second goal and save them from scoring a 3rd so maybe he isn’t as awful as you make out
@blackburnendpod He’s not ready for first team, if he was going to commit and sign a contract then it would be worth giving him minutes, but why we would put him in the shop window and give him exposure if he’s just going to leave, there’s other players in the academy as well
@FootballShed @allrovers_ He said he is happy to stay but wants a longer contract, just give him whatever he wants because it’s going to cost an arm and a leg to replace what he gives us
@carney9207@_ElliottJackson Or maybe the club don’t want to put time and investment in him if he isn’t going to sign a contract and just get exposure for a move?
@foodtechteacher@xjt_744@callumm_7 Alebiosu has been mint so far but to say he’s much better than Brittain just undermines anything else you say. Brittain is best rb in the league and would be our best player if he was still here
@TwooterHead@callumm_7@SkyFootball Pickering barely played for last 12 months, hedges is stronger in the air and more mobile. Strange decision on paper but not illogical when you look at our other options, Yuri would’ve made more sense though.
@willw_4@ChampionshpTalk But there’s no 9th tier club that were a well run premier league team finishing in Europe before their current owners came in and sacked their manager, stripped assets for 15 years and completely destroyed the club, so not the best comparison
@willray1598756@LatestRovers Just not true though is it. Club only offering him a 1 year extension, Sonny said he’s happy to stay but he wants a 3 year contract which is more then fair at 29, especially when the club gave 34 year old Forshaw a new contract
