I completely agree. There is absolutely no reason for Bayern to sell Michael Olise, and I honestly don’t see a compelling reason for Real Madrid to sign him either given the players they already have in those positions.

Like I said before, what really sucks is that this is probably going to be the Bayern rumor that follows us throughout the entire summer unless both the club and the player make their positions clear. Ideally, Bayern would publicly state that Olise is not for sale, and Olise himself would make it clear that he has no interest in leaving. Because when Bayern says it does not want to sell a player, there usually isn’t much left to discuss. Until then, I suspect we’ll keep seeing the same speculation repeated over and over again.

For what it’s worth if I was Bayern Munich I wouldn’t accept €150m for Michael Olise.

He’s 24 years old, and only Yamal is at, or above, his level in Europe, Bayern don’t need the money to be successful…

£130m isn’t enough to unsettle what was Europe’s most productive attack last season.

And there isn’t anyone close to his level to replace him!

Bayern está interesado en fichar al extremo de 17 años de Liverpool, Rio Ngumoha. El club alemán realizó consultas sobre una posible operación, aunque fuentes cercanas a la situación indican que todavía no se han producido reuniones presenciales entre las partes.

Ngumoha conoce el interés procedente de Alemania, pero aún no existe ningún acuerdo sobre términos personales. Mientras tanto, desde Liverpool insisten en que el jugador no está disponible en el mercado y que es considerado una pieza importante para el primer equipo en una posición que el club busca reforzar de cara al futuro.

Liverpool también mantiene un fuerte interés en Yan Diomande, extremo de RB Leipzig, cuya posible llegada podría dificultar aún más los minutos de Ngumoha la próxima temporada. Aun así, está por verse si una operación podría llegar a tomar forma pese a la postura actual de Liverpool de no vender al joven talento.

No existe ningún problema en la operación para llevar a Ismael Saibari de PSV al Bayern. Todo sigue avanzando según lo previsto, aunque el acuerdo todavía no está cerrado al cien por ciento. I completely agree with the club’s decision. Even though €20 million would be a reasonable overall package for a talent of that level, paying €10 million solely as a signing bonus is simply too much. It also sets a precedent that could become a problem in future negotiations, as other players and agents might expect similar terms. Bayern has to be careful not only about the transfer itself, but also about maintaining a sustainable structure for future deals.

Bayern había alcanzado un acuerdo verbal total con Rio Ngumoha y su entorno el pasado 26 de mayo. Las negociaciones llevaban semanas en marcha y Vincent Kompany había dado luz verde a la operación tras conversaciones personales con el jugador. Sin embargo, el acuerdo se cayó por el momento y queda por ver si el club logra cerrar antes las operaciones de Nathaniel Brown e Ismael Saibari, así como si eventualmente puede alcanzarse un entendimiento entre Bayern y Liverpool. It’s funny when people claim that Real Madrid can simply take whatever player they want from Bayern. In reality, they have only signed two Bayern players in recent years, and in both cases the transfers happened because Bayern decided not to meet the salary demands of those players. Selling Toni Kroos was obviously a mistake in hindsight, but paying David Alaba around €20 million per year was not a smart decision either. The key point is that neither player left because Bayern was unable to keep them. They left because the club made a deliberate decision not to offer the contracts they were asking for. So the narrative that Real Madrid can simply come in and take any Bayern player they want is not really supported by the facts.

What I find annoying is that we’re probably going to spend the entire summer having the same discussions with Real Madrid fans: explaining why Bayern has no intention of selling, while being reminded for the hundredth time that they have 15 Champions League titles, as if that somehow answers every transfer-related question.

Hopefully, if there is any truth to the story, Bayern will make its position clear very quickly and publicly state that Michael Olise is not for sale and that there will be no negotiations. That would be the best way to put an end to the speculation, similar to how Manchester City handled the constant rumors linking Erling Haaland with Real Madrid. And specifically in Bayern’s case, when the club publicly says that it does not want to sell a player, there is usually not much left to discuss. Bayern has historically been very clear in those situations, and unless the club changes its position, the conversation is effectively over. Michael Olise is exactly the type of player Bayern should be building around, not considering offers for.

Pérez denied that he was talking about Olise but it is understood that the Bayern winger is exactly who Madrid intend to pursue this summer. Bayern will put up a big fight to keep Olise away from Madrid
