What a night we had in Friday at the @cpfc_w@ChelseaFCW@BarclaysWSL match. Bringing over 100 of our girls and families, many of who were attending their 1st ever match. So many role models for our girls to aspire to be.
We can’t wait to bring over 100 of our girls and families to the @cpfc_w@ChelseaFCW match tonight. An amazing chance for our girls to see their role models up close. Here’s hoping the rain stops!
Amazing to see so many of our U12 team representing @KingsdalePe@KingsdaleFS and helping them to win the South London cup yesterday. Well done girls! 👏👏🏆🏆⚽️⚽️
Great way to start my Sunday, day off watching my daughter play for @FcJulians U10’s such a competitive game, fantastic individual performances but even better all round team spirit, togetherness and determination 🙌🏼🙌🏼👊🏼👊🏼 #COYJ ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️
Such a shame that this is a 12pm kick off. Losing so many potential fans who have grassroots games on Sundays. None of our girls can make this game due to their own matches. Something to be considered when scheduling these showcase matches?
@BalhamBallers This may be off topic but it’s a real problem in youth football IMO
Anything that promotes development over just league tables is good thing, I do think competition is good but there needs to be a mix.
@BalhamBallers I think anything that promotes player development over winning at the YDP is a winner.
I think it is coach education that will play a massive part in it also. Still too many teams happy for the goal keeper to kick it as far as they can and centre backs to do the same.
@BalhamBallers This is celebrated from the sidelines and is low risk often high reward football at that age. But where is the player development when defenders aren’t taught to make decisions and midfielders watch the ball go over their heads.
@DirectSoccer I just made a kit order which included some personalised kit and some not. Would it be possible to get the non personalised kit sent earlier?
