The weekend is here again and it's Belvedere vs Whinney Hill at their place on Burnley Rd, always entertaining if you want to take in a game. K.o is 2pm
Belvedere bowed out of the County Cup in the 1st round as they were beaten on penalties at Hesketh Bank. The game finished 1-1, after Brad Parker gave the visitors the lead in the 1st half but after a very competitive game, penalties decide the tie. Good from everyone again.
It was a massive 3 points for the greens today, as we won 1-0 away at Mill Hill. Everyone stood up to the challenge, goalkeeper Jake Dall was immense, the whole team dug in and Zak Fraser with the winner.

Next up for the greens is an away trip to Rolls on Saturday, come and watch this East Lancs Premier league game if you cant get a ticket for the Turf, guaranteed a thriller.
Belvedere are back in action tomorrow evening as Rock Rovers visit Holden Rd in the East Lancs Premier division, k.o 6.30pm.

The greens played 2 friendlies recently, 1 on Saturday in a 3-2 reverse against Prairie. Goals from Bailey Dickson and Zak Fraser and then bounced back with a 4-2 win against Rimmy Res last night.

Belvedere played their 3rd friendly of the season last night winning 3-2 against Grassington. Goals from Luca McMahon, Zak Frazer and Ryan Cooke. Thanks to Grassington and all the best.

The greens rounded off the season with a 4-1 win away to Waddington.

Today witnessed a proper East Lancs League game. Belvedere v Whinney Hill. Whinney came out out on top in the last 2 games but Belvo won todays game 2-1, blood and thunder was the name of the game. Respect to Whinney, good luck in the cup final. Ben Beardsell with both our goals.
The Bob Little cup took centre stage for belvo today as we travelled to play Lord Raglan. It was a good cup tie until we got in front, then things got a little spicy. The upshot was a 6-3 win. Niall Sawley with 4 goals, Ben Beardsell and George Shaw with the other 2.

Todays burnley derby went the way of Burnley Belvedere as we defeated Burnley Utd 5-2.

After last weeks late loss against Whinney Hill in the Bob Little cup, the greens bounced back in the same competition with a 2 nil win against Padiham. Ben Beardsell scored the goals and Luca McMahon was m.o.m. Hanging in there!!!!
The greens played Langho 72 in the East Lancs League (East Div) on Saturday and recorded a 5-1 victory. Goals from Ben Beardsell, George Shaw, Jordan Jolly and a brace from Niall Sawley secured the win. Bailey Dickson was mom. It's the cup this week, when we visit Whinney Hill.
If you are at a loose end tomorrow, Holden Rd hosts a Bob Little cup game with the greens facing Burnley Utd in the group stages. We look forward to a competitive game and a busy day with the LAL team also at home and 2 rugby games in the mix. Bar open from 12 noon, get on it.
