Today the Mugge hosted Bird, thanks to them for switching the fixture.
Birchall was in awful condition, the Mugge were missing plenty of players with leeks finest fisherman’s local stag doo taking place, but we don’t call games off if we’re missing players.

Mugge added a 3rd when James halfpenny on his debut danced through 3 players and rattled the Woodwork to see Wyoming’s new signing Charles Jones tap in the rebound. The 4th was a worldie free kick, 30 yards, no prize for guessing Harold Shipman was the scorer. Stupidly good.

It meant our 4th choice RB played centre half with a lad who’s not played in 4 months. Clean sheet to follow 🤞🏼
The first half was poor and saw bird have a bit of joy, second half was different the Mugge controlled the game.

By order of Neil Baker, the Uttoxeter and District leagues superstars were not present this fine Sunday morning… apologies for any collateral.

Flower then made it 4 when the suffering Bulls Head keeper helped it into the bottom corner. Bulls Head scored another late on to make it 4-2. Fair play to them today managed to stay in the game with bare bones.

Birchall was never in doubt of being called off, surface was excellent. We got off to a flyer in the first minute Ollie Mellor scoring from 20 yards. 1-0 Mugge.
